## Frequently asked questions

**What is Lukk?**

Lukk is a live-camera betting product by Adkuu. An AI watches a live public camera, writes a short question about what happens next, players call it at a locked price, and the camera settles it from signed evidence frames within seconds. It is delivered to betting operators as a widget or a feed they run under their own brand, on their own wallet.

**What is live-camera betting, and is it the same as CCTV betting?**

Live-camera betting lets players bet on what happens next on a live public camera. The trade press calls the genre CCTV betting or CCTV games; live camera markets and webcam betting mean the same thing. Lukk is the version where an AI writes the question and the camera is the oracle.

**How are markets written?**

A vision layer tracks every car, bus, bird and pedestrian in frame; the AI reads the scene and writes a question anyone can answer at a glance, then prices it live. Five shapes are used: race, first-to, count, happen and state-at-close. The rule of every market is frozen and hashed before the first bet.

**How often does a new market open?**

Every minute or two on each channel; a round is about 90 seconds. As one market settles, the next is already written.

**How are markets settled?**

When the window closes, the deciding frames are locked, signed (ed25519) and published with the result. A deterministic counter or tracker decides where it can and a vision judge decides the rest; markets settle within seconds of close, with a short verification hold on larger payouts. An evidence replay sits behind every result.

**What happens if the camera cannot tell?**

The market is voided and every stake is refunded. A void is always a full refund, never a re-grade in anyone's favour.

**Can someone standing at the camera rig a market?**

Bets close before the window begins, so even someone at the scene has not seen the outcome when bets close; channels rotate so nobody can camp a camera; every ticket passes a one-to-three-second acceptance delay with an in-flight veto and price protection; stake and payout limits, liability caps and circuit breakers cap what any attempt could win; accounts are profiled for anomalies; and every resolution is logged and replayable.

**What about stream delay?**

The server is the authority. Lukk measures oracle lag per scene and refuses a player whose stream is behind rather than filling a stale price; the feed publishes price age and oracle lag with every market.

**What about privacy?**

Markets are written about public scenes and settled without faces; labels never describe people by colour. Lukk holds no player data at all — the operator passes an opaque player reference and Lukk never sees a name, an email or a balance. Filming laws differ by country, and the operator's own privacy notice and local review still apply.

**Is Lukk a random-number game?**

No. Nothing is decided by an RNG. The outcome is what happened on the camera, and the evidence is published.

**Who holds the licence?**

The operator. Lukk is supplied by Adkuu OÜ to licensed operators, who hold the consumer licence and its duties — KYC, AML, age verification, responsible-gambling limits and self-exclusion, geofencing, terms and disputes. Lukk stays PII-free, enforces per-ticket limits and controls which markets an operator may serve by jurisdiction. Regulatory classification of camera-resolved event contracts differs by jurisdiction and is worked through per market with the operator's legal team; Lukk carries supplier KYB, licensing and certification tracks on its side.

**How do operators integrate Lukk?**

Two paths: an iframe widget launched like a game with a single-use session token (an afternoon of work), or the market feed over REST, WebSocket and gRPC for operators who build their own UI (days). Both use the same seamless wallet contract — debit, credit, rollback, reconcile on the operator's wallet API, HMAC-signed and idempotent — and the same settlement webhooks and pull endpoint.

**How is it priced for players?**

Per operator account: house mode shows the operator's decimal odds (the Lukk price plus the operator's margin, adjusted for liability) and pays stake × odds; AMM mode shows the live probability. Odds go up to ×20 and a ticket locks its price at acceptance.

**What does it cost an operator?**

Revenue share, 5–8% of GGR, with no upfront fees. The operator sets its own stake, payout and position limits in its own currency.

**Can the widget match our brand?**

Yes. A handful of semantic colours, your typography, corner radius and stake presets; set once on the account, per session, or live while the widget runs. The market cards, countdowns and evidence flash stay the same across operators so the fairness cues stay recognisable.

**What is the status of Lukk?**

Early access. The operator integration guide is at v1.1 (6 October 2026) and Adkuu is onboarding its first operators. Certification runs on a play-money account on the production surface; a dedicated sandbox host is on the roadmap.

**Where can we see it running?**

Inside Adkuu Play at play.adkuu.com/lukk — a real operator integration with a launch link, a seamless wallet and a themed widget. Sign in with your email and call a round. The demo uses play money on a test network; nothing can be won or cashed out.
